MYOB Plus Single User Access

For MYOB Plus users:

The Connecter basically takes up 1 user login when synchronising. The multi user versions like Premier and Enterprise do not have this particular problem.

To work around this problem you can do one the following:

  •  First open MYOB then login to a company file and leave it running before running the connector. As long as you login to MYOB first it won’t lock you out.
  • Wait till the Connector is idle then open MYOB. The Connector drops its connection when idle allowing you to open MYOB.
  • Upgrade to MYOB Premier or Enterprise for multi user access. Please let us know if you require further help with this.

Slow MYOB Over a Network

One of the biggest gripes about the MYOB desktop accounting packages is its very slow performance with multiple users over a network. The old joke of having to go make a cup of coffee while the accounts person is printing P & L’s is a painful reality to most users.

Cloud computing is a solution to this problem. Most people think of cloud computing as a way to work while on the road or from home. Well the reality is that most cloud services are used internally, within the same office. With the Your Business Cloud MYOB service unlimited users can now manage payables and receivables at the same time with absolutely no reduction in speed. The truth is that the speeds you get through the cloud service is virtually instantaneous.

Forget costly terminal servers or upgrading your server with expensive hardware. Your Business Cloud is a low cost, easy alternative.
